Nestled in the village of Sohier , one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, in the heart of the Famenne region , the Ferme de Roncheury is a family farm where the passion for milk has been passed down for three generations . Martine and Sébastien raise nearly 75 Holstein cows , which graze freely in large pastures from April to November . Respect for the natural cycle and the care given to the animals guarantee high-quality milk , processed directly on site.

The house specialty is farm butter made with raw milk , renowned far beyond the region. A multi-award winner, it notably took home the gold medal at the 2024 Provincial Butter Competition. But the range doesn't stop there: milk , fresh cream , and yogurts complete the offering, all crafted with the same artisanal expertise.

Lovers of authentic dairy products can find these specialties at the farm shop , open twice a week , and meet the producers there. The Roncheury Farm is also part of local food networks and promoted by local tourism initiatives, such as the Famenne-Ardenne Geopark , which highlight sustainable, local agriculture that respects the environment.
