Many holiday cottage owners in the Ardennes are happy to welcome guests with pets. Often, the holiday home has a (partially) fenced garden, allowing your dog to run and play safely outdoors and fully enjoy their holiday in the heart of the Ardennes. Of course, a dog-friendly holiday home doesn't exempt guests from respecting a few rules of etiquette and cleanliness, out of respect for future guests (both two-legged and four-legged!).

What a pleasure it is to stay in a dog-friendly holiday home in the Ardennes and bring the entire family together, away from the daily grind! It's a chance to spend quality, stress-free time with your faithful companion in a beautiful, green setting. You can strengthen your bond with your pet while enjoying the natural surroundings and experiencing wonderful outdoor adventures. No one in the family will be left out!
A holiday house in the Ardennes offers a host of advantages, particularly when it comes to outdoor activities. Your dog will enjoy plenty of walks in the heart of the rich and unspoiled natural surroundings, whether in the forest or along a country lane, for example. And if the weather gets too hot, chances are a stream is never far away. As for restaurants, many establishments allow dog owners to dine with their faithful companions.

Frequently Asked Questions
It would be a shame if you couldn't bring the entire family to your holiday residence! Check the information sheet for the holiday home you're interested in – the "Practical Information" section – to see how many dogs can be accommodated.
It depends on the holiday home. Once on the information page for a particular holiday residence, check the "practical information" section to see if any restrictions are specified regarding the size of dogs allowed.
Often, owners of holiday homes ask guests who bring their dogs to contribute to cleaning costs. If this is the case, the information is always mentioned on the holiday home's information sheet, in the "Practical Information" section.
Most walking trails are "dog-friendly" (unless otherwise indicated at the start). However, please keep your four-legged friend on a leash, out of respect for the surrounding wildlife and other walkers. This rule applies everywhere once you leave the property of your holiday home.
