Where there's a forest, there are walking trails, hiking circuits, and mountain biking routes starting right from your accommodation. Some wooded areas have numerous marked trails; others will require you to follow a map (paper or digital) to ensure you find your way back to your cottage without too much trouble at the end of the day! In either case, this will guarantee you some great outdoor activities with family or friends.
