You can't miss the Domaine de Farnières and its imposing castle! This peaceful place offers walks accessible to all in this unspoiled setting. A place to eat is also available should you get a little (or a lot!) hungry.

The Sacrawe Fen , with its 6-kilometer boardwalk through the peat bogs, is an ideal alternative to the walks from Signal de Botrange. Its relatively easy route is suitable for families with children. Remember to bring sturdy boots, as it can get very muddy in wet weather!

Located east of Lierneux, the Rocher de Hourt offers a magnificent view of the Salm valley, the river next to the Lienne!

The Plateau des Tailles is a natural gem with magnificent landscapes. The Baraque de Fraiture, at 652 meters, rises to the summit of this plateau, located in the Two Ourthes Natural Park. Numerous streams originate here, creating the Ourthe and Amblève river basins. Its panorama is a patchwork of features found in the High Fens, the Spa Fens, the Saint-Hubert Plateau, and the Croix-Scaille Massif. Its unique climate allows many rare plants to flourish and shelters a plethora of remarkable animal species: discreet bilberries, heather, multicolored butterflies and dragonflies, nightjars, and even black storks! The Plateau's harsh winters and frequent frosts attract many hikers hoping to see the snow that blankets the landscape for 20 to 60 days a year.

Did you know? In addition to being home to a rich ecosystem, the Plateau des Tailles has a very rich history: it was the center of the Ardennes in Antiquity and was even exploited for its gold for a time!

The Bra-sur-Lienne fishing area is a pleasant spot for amateur anglers, whether with family or friends. You'll find several well-maintained fishing ponds where you can fish for trout. Committed riders looking for challenges can choose to ride in a bike park, that is, a collection of trails designed by and for mountain biking enthusiasts, such as Ferme Libert , the Baraque de Fraiture bike park.

Lierneux is distinguished by its wide range of gastronomic and local products. The Bergerie de la Lienne , for example, specializes in sheep's cheese. They also produce milk and yogurt locally. In season, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot some lambs!
