Marathon Des Boucles Ardennaises

This 21km route highlights the Boucles Ardennaises half-marathon , of which we are a partner for the 2026 edition . In the heart of La Roche-en-Ardenne , the route crosses the Ourthe valley, the surrounding woods, streams and the heights of the Haussire.

The route alternates between a flatter initial section, a long, gradual climb into the hills, and more undulating forest sections before a final descent into the valley. A demanding route, designed for runners seeking a real challenge in the Ardennes.

Start and beginning of the route

The route begins in La Roche-en-Ardenne , in an iconic setting dominated by the castle and the Ourthe valley.

The first few kilometers run alongside the Ourthe on a relatively flat section, ideal for gradually getting into the race before tackling the first difficulties.

Return to the starting point

After the wooded and hilly sections around Borzée, the route gradually descends towards La Roche-en-Ardenne .
