The abbey is a place where you'll find a peaceful atmosphere. The brewery has been modernized, but the beer has retained its powerful and unique flavor. A true Ardennes attraction of the highest order. On the brewery's covered terrace, you'll also always receive excellent service.

The designation “Trappist” is the result of a strict adherence to several rules :
Among these exceptional beers, Orval is undoubtedly the most famous of all. The renowned recipe, created in the 1930s , has remained unchanged and owes its distinctive taste to the quality of its hops, yeast, and water, and of course to the dedication and work of its monks .
The brewery opens its doors to the public on very rare occasions - generally a few days a year - but you can enjoy an Orval at the nearby Auberge de l'Ange Gardien , or in one of the many restaurants in the area!
