Kayak les Remous

Looking for an adventure in the great outdoors ? With Les Remous , embark on a kayak trip down the Ourthe River and discover one of Belgium's most beautiful rivers from a different perspective. Between Barvaux and Comblain-au-Pont , three routes are available:

• Hamoir – Comblain-au-Pont (8.4 km) for a leisurely stroll

• Barvaux – Hamoir (15 km) for the more athletic

• Barvaux – Comblain-au-Pont (23.4 km) for a full day on the water

Kayaks , available in 1, 2, or 3-person configurations , allow everyone to choose their experience: solo, in pairs or trios, as a couple, with friends, or as a family . Pick-up is in Hamoir , where a shuttle then takes you to the starting point to embark on your journey through the heart of the river's meanders .

Along the way, the sensations come one after another with waterfalls , small rapids , rocks and low branches , adding a touch of challenge and fun to the trip. The Ourthe reveals itself in all its facets: wild , refreshing and always surprising .

Open from April to October , the activity takes place during the warmer months . For optimal organization, online booking is mandatory .
