Promenade des Artistes

The Promenade des Artistes is an 8.3 km loop located in the charming town of Spa , renowned for its thermal springs and rich cultural heritage. This hike offers walkers a perfect combination of natural landscapes , panoramic views , and historical sites , reflecting the charm and history of the Ardennes region.

The starting point is located in the center of Spa .

From the Place Royale , follow the local signs for the Promenade des Artistes . The path begins with a gradual climb through picturesque streets, quickly leading to forest paths.

After approximately 3 km , the climb becomes steeper towards the Tahanfagne Arboretum , a 10-hectare botanical garden showcasing a wide variety of tree species. Created in 1932, this area reflects the evolution of the region's forest landscapes.
