Discovering Belgium's only mountain stream!
Near Aywaille , in the province of Liège , the path opens up to the Ninglinspo , a unique mountain stream in Belgium, listed as an exceptional heritage site of Wallonia . From the very start of the walk, you are enveloped by the magical atmosphere of the Ardennes forest, while the clear waters of the Ninglinspo murmur softly and soothingly. This stream, shaped over centuries, has carved its bed through the heart of the rocks, offering a natural journey that is as impressive as it is enchanting.
To access this beautiful hike, parking is available near the Ninglinspo brewery. Be aware that it's often full! To avoid parking hassles, we recommend taking the bus, with a stop nearby, guaranteeing easy and stress-free access.
The path, lined with rocks eroded by water and time, meanders with the flow of the river. You cross wooden footbridges that span the river, offering glimpses of small waterfalls formed by the water cascading between the stones. The further you walk, the more enchanting the murmur of the water becomes, punctuated by the sound of waterfalls and faster currents. The trail zigzags between the trees, revealing new natural wonders at every turn.

All along the path, the magic continues with giant's kettles , natural pools formed by erosion, perfect for a refreshing break. Among the most remarkable, you'll first discover the Naiads' Bath , followed a little further on by the Hermes' Bath , where the crystal-clear water flows gently, offering perfect spots to admire nature. You can also admire the small water slides that cascade between the rocks, creating playful and natural water features.
Continuing along the path, you'll come across the Otter's Bath , another enchanting pool. Further on, the Deer's Bath unfolds, bordered by lush vegetation, inviting you to immerse yourself even more in its serene atmosphere. Finally, you'll find Diana's Bath and Venus's Bath , pools imbued with a mysterious ambiance, where the water seems to dance among the rocks, creating a breathtaking natural spectacle.
