The Roche aux Corneilles , also known as Roche Hiernaux, stands in Bomal , in the province of Luxembourg , Belgium. This imposing limestone rock overlooks the Ourthe river by 35 meters, with a southeast orientation that benefits from pleasant sunshine, in the heart of a green setting.

This climbing area offers 32 varied routes , suitable for grades from 5b to 8a+, providing a challenge for climbers of all levels. Among the classics, discover Les Naufragés (7a+), Le Super Balcon (7b), Le Casse-Pipe (7c), Timber (6b), L'Ultime (5c), Les Caisses à Savons (5b), La Valse (6b+), Le Toit (6c), Le Pilastre (7a), Viva Zapata (7a+), Un Mot, un Geste (8a), and Pénétrator (8a+). Re-equipping in 1998 modernized these historic routes, making climbing safer. La Roche aux Corneilles is therefore perfect for satisfying even the most demanding climbers.

The rock offers polished holds and technical sections, with a left-hand side that touches the water, ideal for ledges and platforms perfect for refreshing jumps. Four caves traverse the massif, one of which pierces it entirely, and it serves as a caving training ground for the Belgian Speleological Union .
