After exploring Durbuy and its narrow streets, a break on a terrace seems almost inevitable. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the view of the anticlinal, which contributes to the region's unique charm.

You can't miss it: it towers over Durbuy at 148 meters . The Durbuy anticlinal , also known as Rocher d'Omalius or Roche à la Falize , is the highest point in the town. Shaped like an inverted "U", it is the result of over 300 million years of marine sediment accumulation over a depth of about thirty meters.

Today, it poses for photos in the smallest city in the world. The esplanade at its base is a stone's throw from the old town . In the evening, plays of light illuminate it and add a touch of mystery.

If steep paths don't scare you, set off to conquer the summit and admire the view over Durbuy . Your efforts will not have been in vain!
