At Château de Vignée in Villers-sur-Lesse , the Arden restaurant occupies a bright annex. Large windows open directly onto the Lesse Valley and the forest , and, on sunny days, the terrace offers a view of the river. The banks of the Lesse are perfect for a stroll before or after your meal.
In the kitchen, chef Marius Bosmans places vegetables at the heart of the dish. Some of the vegetables come from the kitchen garden , the greenhouse , and the estate's gardens , resulting in a menu that reflects the rhythm of the seasons . Local produce is used with the same philosophy, to create clear , precise , and sometimes unexpected dishes, without any gratuitous flourishes. The technique is evident without artifice, and the service discreetly follows the menu's pace.
Arden offers tasting menus , composed of several courses. Pairings are available in wines , juices , and infusions . The restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star and is listed in the Gault & Millau guide, with a score of 16 out of 20 in the 2025 edition. The chef was named Young Chef of the Year in Wallonia for 2024 .
