If there's one renowned chocolate shop in Gaume , it's Les Chocolats d'Edouard ! Founded in 2004 by Edouard Bechoux in Florenville , this workshop offers a range of homemade pralines , macarons , and cakes. Among their creations is the Orval praline , which incorporates the famous local Trappist beer with its bitter notes, blending cocoa beans from Uganda or Ecuador . Other ingredients include Piedmont hazelnuts for their spreads and cocoa beans certified for their origin.

At the shop , which has parking and is wheelchair accessible , you can observe the workshop on Saturday and Sunday mornings . The visit begins with a glass of homemade hot chocolate and includes tastings of specialties . It's the perfect opportunity to take home some melo-cakes , boxes of pralines , or even a speculoos tiramisu !

Don't hesitate to also participate in a workshop to discover the manufacturing steps – and of course leave with your own creations! After the visit, enjoy an ice cream on the store's terrace, accompanied by a waffle for those with a sweet tooth.
