In Sugny , right next to the church, you'll find the Fromagerie de la Semois : a small , artisanal cheese dairy where everything is homemade , using milk from a local farmer . Isabelle Demat is at the helm, and here, there's no mass production – only cheese made the right way, with love .
Plain Tomme , Tomme with fenugreek, a mild Macu cheese similar to Camembert , and a range of fresh cheeses with flavors such as shallot or tomato-basil : each product comes directly from the workshop. You can taste the difference in the simplicity and quality of the ingredients!
The shop is open on Thursdays and Saturdays . Want to order outside of these hours? Just give us a call . In addition to cheeses, you'll find local butter , jams, fruit wine , honey, and – by reservation – packages of organic meat from a neighboring farm.
