The Chèvrerie de Borlon , located near Durbuy , is a must-visit for lovers of artisanal goat cheese . Here, the farm practices organic farming and fully respects animal welfare. The goats enjoy a green and peaceful environment, where they are fed primarily with organically grown feed.
On-site, the cheese is transformed directly on the farm. You'll find a wide variety of cheeses, ranging from fresh , plain or herb- flavored cheeses to more mature cheeses with a more pronounced taste. Every step of the production process is carefully considered to preserve the quality and authenticity of the products.
The goat farm also offers tours that allow visitors to discover the daily life of the farm, the cheesemaking process, and of course, to taste the local specialties. This activity is popular with families as well as those curious to learn more about local production.
In addition to the farm shop, Borlon cheeses are available at certain markets and regional outlets. Local roots are at the heart of their approach: prioritizing short supply chains , showcasing local produce, and offering visitors a simple and authentic product, made just a stone's throw from Durbuy.
