In 1999, fresh out of agricultural science and holding a Swiss "Master Cheesemaker" diploma, Peter settled in Acremont with about twenty Belgian dairy sheep, a breed then on the verge of extinction. In 2007, Barbara joined the farm. Today, the flock numbers 250 sheep !

What makes the sheep's cheese from Bergerie d'Acremont so special? In spring and summer, the animals graze in meadows rich in grass, alfalfa, and clover. In winter, they receive hay prepared on-site. No trace of GMOs, soy, or corn !

The result of this sustainable approach? A delicious assortment of hard and soft sheep's milk cheeses , made with raw and heat-treated milk, which you can buy directly from the farm . The sheepfold is open to everyone, and free visits can be arranged, with or without meals . From a simple cheese plate to fondue and raclette with sheep's cheese, there's something to delight your taste buds!

Other customized options are also available upon request: appetizers, desserts...
