The Brasserie du Clocher is located in the former chapel dedicated to Saint Philomena , in the heart of Malonne ( province of Namur ). The project, launched at the end of 2015 , is based on a local desire: to give new life to this disused building by installing a craft microbrewery .
From the outset, the intention was to brew the "Philomène" brand beers independently and using traditional methods . The repurposed former church building now houses the brewing tanks , bottling facilities , and a sales counter .
Every third Sunday of the month , the brewery opens its doors for a guided tour : you'll discover the history of the place, the brewing equipment, and then you can taste Philomène beers in "Philo's Tavern." The sales counter is also open on certain Saturday mornings for taking home bottles produced directly on site.
Beyond production, it is a reimagined heritage site, where the association between local history , craft brewery and sharing can be seen in every detail: from the restored chapel to the collective project that surrounds it.
